The Read-a-thon:

For the Love of Reading is a fun and easy way to encourage your students to read… while earning new books for the school library, students and each homeroom teacher. It really is a win-win-win idea!

This is a very easy program to manage and requires little work, only the abundance of reading encouragement by the homeroom teacher!

The goal of the For the Love of Reading program is for the children to read or be read to for a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes a day over a period of 10 days. This is the recommended amount of time that experts encourage for daily reading.

25% in Usborne Books to participating teachers
50% in Usborne Books to participating students
As an added bonus earn an extra 7% in free books for each participating classroom for book draws
